5. Coal, Uranium and Renewable Sources

Preferential Subjects:
1. Technologies for energy generation, transportation and distribution. Providing security
of supply. Distributed generation and energy supply for insulated consumers
2. Regional energy resources and technological options. Promoting the renewables
3. Liberalized and and integrated electricity markets in the European energy market
4. Environmental protection ans sustainable development. An integrated approach
5. Increasing the energy efficiency

Each preferential subject will be approached taking into consideration the following aspects:
Demand
Supply
Market and pricing
Investments and financing
Technologies and Equipment
Efficiency
Regulation
Environment
Human Resources

Note:
The preferential subjects are discussed and presented in the same time, in the five discussion sessions and poster session
For each preferential subject there are scheduled between 90 and 120 minutes
The five preferential subjects are developed on five time grids, in three half of days
(Monday, Wednesday, Thursday).

Poster Session

Poster presentations will be displayed in the Conference Hall Calatis and Conference Hall Bowling.
Posters will be presented during 14-17 June 2010.
