Organizatori: CNR-CME, Siemens Energy
SHORT DESCRIPTION
According to studies by the International Energy Agency, this is a critical year for hydrogen, as it is an essential fuel for the “green” future of energy and enjoys unprecedented interest worldwide, especially in the European Union, in response to the challenges of the “Green Deal”. To use this opportunity, the authorities, but especially the companies, must act quickly, sustainable and ambitiously, starting today. At the same time, the beneficiaries of new, specific technologies must know them and understand the advantages they bring.
OBJECTIVES
The event organized by CNR-CME with the help of Siemens – a fervent promoter of new technologies – aims to assess the stage of development of technologies related to the use of hydrogen, the ways in which hydrogen can help achieve a clean, safe and accessible energy future, generating useful ideas in using its potential and ways to promote these ideas in Romania.
• Technologies to reduce CO2 emissions in electricity generation
• Technologies for producing electricity by burning hydrogen
• Energy storage in hydrogen
EXPECTED RESULTS
• Identifying the possibilities of using the potential of hydrogen in Romania
